Our School Values
- Respect (Relationship Value)
- Pride (Organisational Value)
- Responsibility (Societal Value)
- Perseverance (Individual Value)
At Rowville Primary School we aim to promote a school ethos which is underpinned by core values. These values support the development of the whole child as a reflective learner within a calm, caring, happy and purposeful atmosphere.
We weave our core values into the fabric of school life. We want our students to use our values to make decisions and to make deliberate choices to focus on what is important to us as a school. We want our values to provide a mirror for decision making so that we shape students to thrive in the 21st Century.
Student achievement, engagement and wellbeing are our mission. We know each child by their name and believe that every face has a place in our school. We believe that the basic need of every student is to:
Feel safe and know clearly what is expected of them;
Have the opportunity to participate in a rich curriculum;
Be supported to develop relationships;
Develop self-awareness and a knowledge of the world outside of themselves;
Have creative experiences, including external exploration and internal reflection;
Have voice and agency in the learning process.
